Read the Address Carefully

Check every character in the domain before entering a mobile number or password. Lookalike pages can use extra words, missing letters or unusual endings. Do not trust a page only because its colours resemble the platform.

Confirm HTTPS—But Do Not Stop There

HTTPS protects the connection between your browser and the page, but it does not guarantee that the owner is the service you intended to visit. Combine the lock icon with a careful domain check and a trusted source.

Question the Source of the Link

• Avoid links forwarded by unknown accounts or groups.
• Do not open shortened addresses when the destination is hidden.
• Be cautious with urgent messages claiming the account will close.
• Do not install a file offered before the login page appears.
• Save a destination only after you have independently verified it.

Watch for Suspicious Requests

Stop if the page asks for a full card number, payment PIN, screen-sharing permission or an OTP before you have started a normal account action. Genuine recovery should take place inside the verified platform.

What to Do After Entering Details on the Wrong Page

1. Close the page without submitting anything else.
2. Change the password through the verified recovery route.
3. Sign out of other devices when that option is available.
4. Review recent account messages and activity.
5. Do not respond to anyone asking for the new password or OTP.
